Olive oil

We are fortunate to have neighbours that have a small olive orchard (approx 120 trees). Even more fortunate as today they gifted us a bottle of their very own cold pressed olive oil (from their harvest last season). The oil is a blend of several varieties, and it's very good.

What a treat.

I have just one lonely tree at the moment. That oil sounds delicious. Hope you had a great day yesterday.

Take care

Yes we also only have one lonely tree so I don't think we'll be getting our own oil! I have given these neighbours preserves and eggs in the past so it's nice when "what goes around comes around" even though you don't expect it. We'll enjoy the oil with some nice foccacia bread, it's too special to use in cooking.
